Celebrate 4th of July on a Bahamas Mega Yacht Charter

Celebrate your independence with a mega yacht charter in south Florida or the Bahamas on the 130-foot Westport, Mary Alice II. The yacht’s layout is ideally suited for five adult couples as it has five king cabins – a rare feature on a mega yacht. Of course, if you have singles in your group, two of the cabins can convert to twins.
I was aboard the yacht for a James Bond theme cocktail party in May and just loved the crew – playful, engaging, professional – all those things that a charter guest wants on a luxury yacht charter.
And talk about independence – there’s plenty of toys for each couple to head out and do their own thing – wave runners, underwater scooters, kayaks, jacuzzi, and a 34-foot Regulator center console towed tender.
Having just cruised the Bahamas on a mega yacht, a towed tender is a must. It’s not only great for sport fishing, scuba diving, and snorkeling. Sometimes it was pure pleasure to just keep the big yacht anchored in a remote cove and use the tender to sightsee, enjoy Happy Hour at a local bar, or “go fast” to a distant reef. Plus the 6.5 foot draft on Mary Alice allows you to get upclose and personal in the Bahamas where the waters are shallow.
