One of the newest additions to the St. Thomas Crewed Catamaran Charter Fleet – Viramar- is offering a Free Land Excursion Day this upcoming season. Just book your weeklong charter by December 1, 2018, and choose the tour of your choice. Now this is not any ordinary shore excursion tour – this is a daylong adventure with the crew who is going to create a magical insider’s day for you. No dropping you off at the dock and pointing you in the right direction. Instead they will lead you on a personalized adventure.
But before we share all of the sundrenched details of the adventure, let us share a bit about the yacht. Viramar is brand new to charter this year and is a 56’ Lagoon with an expansive flybridge. You will have a veteran and award winning crew at the helm. Captain Tyler and Chef Erika were voted “Best Crew” at the St. Thomas Crewed Charter Yacht Show last year. Who were the judges? Charter brokers like us.
One recent St. Thomas crewed catamaran charter guest put it this way: “Tyler and Erika are very special. Both are smart, experienced, funny, skillful, caring, knowledgeable, and charming. Extremely capable apart, yet a fantastic team together. I will forever measure other boat crews against them - my litmus test for how it should be.”
Viramar can host eight guests in four queen cabins. You can trade a queen for a twin bunk cabin if that better suits your group. Viramar has all of the expected watersports gear – skis, paddle boards, kayaks, wakeboard, etc. plus scuba diving. All weeklong charters aboard Viramar include 5 dives for certified divers. Additional dives can be added based upon itinerary and the captain’s discretion.

Non-certified divers can enjoy a Discover Scuba course. This allows you to get your feet wet and enjoy the thrills of diving. The course involves a mini-class in the cockpit and some basic in-the-water skills training. Once you have mastered these skills, you get to dive on a shallow reef at a maximum depth of 40 feet.
All divers will be in great hands with both Tyler and Erika being certified dive instructors.
Free Exursion in Anegada – the Hidden Jewel of the BVI
Jump in with Captain Tyler as he transitions from land to sea and takes the helm of an island jeep and casts off with you on an island experience. First stop is one of the loveliest beaches in the BVI - Cow Wreck Beach. Belly up to the bar and enjoy a round of drinks as you discover where the name came from. Next stop, Anegada Beach Club where you can relax by the pool, swing in hammocks and enjoy lunch on your own. If the winds up, you will be mesmerized by the aerial shenanigans of the kite surfers at this windward beach.
After, it’s on to Loblolly Beach, a great location for an afternoon snorkel. Make stops at the Flamingo Pond (yes, there are real flamingos here), Big Bamboo and drive through the sleepy little settlement. Don’t blink you eyes or you’ll miss it. End your evening with a lobster dinner by the water under a star flooded sky..
The tour includes the vehicle rental (driven by crew), a round of drinks at Cow Wreck Beach, and lobster dinner at the crew’s recommended restaurant. This tour is dependent on weather. Virgin Gorda Tour will be offered in place if we cannot make it to Anegada due to weather
Explore "Nature's Little Secrets" on Beautiful Virgin Gorda.
Start your morning with a guided tour through grottoes of The Baths with Captain Tyler. Then a short uphill hike brings you to the Top of the Baths where you can enjoy a round of drinks by their pool. Captain Tyler will have a vehicle waiting to head through Spanish Town and up the mountain where you will discover the best views of the North Sound in all the BVI. Enjoy lunch at Hog Heaven at the top of Gorda Peak. Wow – what a view! Savanah Bay is the perfect after lunch destination to take a dip or relax in the sun.
