A passionate and skilled seafarer, Rodrigo has always been connected with the marine environment. Originally from Lisbon, he started sailing at the age of eight. After exploring the Portuguese waters he has conducted longer voyages, including oceanic crossings.

Having obtained professional certificates, Rodrigo sailed in Greece on several charter yachts and was engaged in yacht deliveries throughout the Mediterranean for over 6 years. He joined Ocean Vibes shortly after her launch.

Rodrigo maintains a professional work attitude which, combined with his welcoming and friendly personality, is highly valued by the guests. He always makes sure the boat is well maintained and safely operated and that the crew of Ocean Vibes provides the highest professional level of service.

Young, yet experienced crew member, Martin is a professional Chef who obtained the Chef certificate at the Hotel Academy in Slovakia in his early twenties. Before taking his cookery skills to the yachting world, he gained a valuable culinary experience in a Michelin star restaurant in Switzerland, a luxury chalet in France, Grand Hotel Kempinski in Slovakia as well as a luxury hotel in Scotland.

Martin specializes in Swiss and Italian cuisine. He also worked in a luxury resort in Sri Lanka, discovering some local exotic flavours. A creative chef with a flexible approach towards individual dietary preferences, Martin is constantly improving his culinary techniques and strives to exceed every guests expectations.

Martin loves travelling and sea and has sailed over 12000 nm so far, half of it as skipper at the helm of the yachts. In addition to sailing and cooking, Martin is keen on snowboarding, basketball, chess and music. He is also a professional pianist with 10 years of experience, which is great news for all music lovers, considering that Ocean Vibes has a piano on board.
