A passionate and enthusiastic seaman, Mattia has been working on boats since 2012, beginning with deliveries and maintenance before progressing to yachts. He has completed several coastal and blue water cruises as well as 4 Atlantic crossings, gaining experience in both the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. Working on both private and charter boats has given Mattia the opportunity to demonstrate his professional and friendly manner with guests. Making up an essential part of the CURANTA CRIDHE duo, Mattia has been Captain onboard for several years.

Job Description:
As Captain, the overall running of the vessel is Mattias responsibility; this includes the navigation, safety and experience of all onboard. He ensures that CURANTA CRIDHE runs smoothly and efficiently whilst adhering to all the appropriate regulations.

Before entering the yachting world, Nicola was an independent entrepreneur skipper and sailing instructor in the Mediterranean, developing the necessary skills to interact with guests. Gaining experience on sailing yachts, he performs maintenance to a high standard and delights guests with his culinary abilities. Having sailed the Mediterranean, Atlantic and Caribbean Seas, Nicola has a wealth of knowledge on all CURANTA CRIDHEs destinations.

Job Description:
As the Chef/Steward, Nicola is responsible for the crew and guest meals throughout the charter, ensuring that the food is enjoyable, and the interior of the yacht is clean and serviceable. He is a creative chef, varying his meals to provide a variety and according to the location of CURANTA CRIDHE, to have as much relevance as possible to the country being visited.
